LEVEL: Intermetiate - some Improv or Sketch experience recommended
Have you created a character with an interesting point of view? In our Character Monologues workshop, you will learn how to write hilarious monologues that will allow your character to lay it all out there on the stage! Through the writing process you will delve into your character's inner life, and develop their voice. You will be able to build an entire world for your characters and receive feedback to help develop your writing skills.
This class is one (1) two hour session. The instructor is Avery Baker. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable. All students must adhere to policies in the Dallas Comedy Club Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older to enroll and participate.
Advanced Sketch: Abstract

Let's get weird! Our Abstract Sketch Workshop will teach you how to write sketch that defies normal reasoning and uses absurdist comedy.

The Peas in a Pod Sketch is when two characters match each other's energy, and the comedy comes from heightening that energy. Sharpen your writing and creaitvely in this fun workshop!

Ready to dive into the world of Sketch Comedy? In Taste to Sketch, you’ll learn the basics of sketch writing and develop a variety of skills to produce sketches of your own.Your instructor will walk you through lectures, examples, and exercises in just 2 short hours.
